Changing paradigm of Breast Cancer Radiotherapy : From Long course to ultra-short course

Dr Zade has completed his MBBS from Govt. Medical College, Nagpur.

He pursued higher studies in Radiation Oncology and Clinical Oncology from Prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. During his residency he received extensive training in high precision Radiotherapy like IMRT, IGRT, Stereotactic Radiotherapy for Brain tumour and Stereotactive Ablative Body Radiotherapy for Lung and liver tumours.

He learned Neuro-Oncology under guidance of Dr Rakesh Jalali who was his mentor. He was awarded University Topper in MD examination in year 2009 from Maharashtra University of Health sciences, Nashik . He then completed DNB in Radiation Oncology from Nat Board, Delhi.

He joined Ruby Hall Clinic in 2010 as a Consultant Radiation Oncologist. He pioneered 4D CT based Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy for Lung and Liver tumours in Ruby Hall Clinic.

He also started Perineal Interstitial Brachytherapy treatment for difficult female genital track cancers. Both these technically challenging modalities have yielded very impressive results so far. He has keen interest in treatment of Breast cancers especially in Extreme Hypofractionation (FAST FORWARD) and cardiac sparing Radiotherapy using Deep Inspiratory Breath Hold (DIBH) technique. He has been a part of Bone marrow transplant Unit and Total Body Irradiation for myeloablative conditioning.

Besides, he has been Principle Investigator and Co Investigator of various study protocols. He has delivered and chaired scientific sessions in various national and international conferences.
