At our center, we treat cancer patients with Ayurvedic treatment along with conventional cancer treatment like chemotherapy, radiotherapy and onco-surgery. Our center also has cancer diagnostic facilities. The adjunct Ayurvedic treatment given by us appears to be beneficial in many cancer patients for improving quality of life, increasing disease free survival and for minimizing the side-effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. We have also developed an excellent research facilities with the help of Tata Trusts and are conducting research on the effectiveness of integrated cancer treatment approach using modern technologies.
The center is documenting outcomes of integrative treatment in various types of cancers and presenting & publishing it in various scientific conferences and peer reviewed journals. We have filed and published 8 patents of Ayurvedic formulations nationally and internationally used in adjunct treatment of cancer.
ICTRC has been organizing International conferences on “Ayurved for Cancer” (ICAC) every 5 years since 1997, with the aim of putting forth clinical and scientific research in integrative approach of oncology on one platform.
